Twisted Easel card

At last Saturday again, that time for a new edition of the Stempeleinmaleins. Before we begin today, we point out again that on Wednesday is our new series "The Stamp Room " started. If you missed this issue should, then check out quickly here. And now to today's topic!
***
Finally it's Saturday again Which means time for another issue of Stempeleinmaleins. Before we start today we want to let you know that our new series "The stamp room" was starting on Wednesday. If you missed this issue just visit this site . And now to today's theme!

you have determined during the last few weeks one or the other Twisted Easel Card (twisted rolling easel easel =) seen in the www. Who invented these cards form, we have unfortunately not known, but we want you now how to show a card so powerful. That is not too heavy and really does make her something;).
***
I guess you've already seen some twisted easel cards in the www during the last weeks. Unfortunately we do not know who had the idea for this kind of card but we want to show you how to make one. It's not that difficult and looks wonderful;).

your needs:
Falzbrett and / or bone folder and ruler
1 sheet cardstock 30.5 x 30.5 cm
3D stamp pad
motif / e

adhesive design paper decorations
possibly forged part (s) ***

You need:
scoreboard and / or bone folder and ruler
1 sheet of card stock 12 "x 12"
foam pads

stamped image (s)
pattern paper

glue
embellishments, if possible, the cut (s)

Cut your cardstock sheet in half, so its a strip in the size 30.5 x 15.25 cm have (12 "x 6"). Now that it folds in length from 15.25 cm (6 "), exactly in the middle.
***
Cut your card stock sheet in the half So that you get a strip of 12" x 6 ". Fold your cardstock strip on the length at 6 "(in the middle).

Rotates the cardstock so that now the short side is up and score a diagonal in the picture to see.
***
Turn your cardstock strip So that the short edge is on top and fold like a diagonal seen on the picture.

If it shuts the card now, then it should look like this.
***
If you close your card it should look like this.

If her "cover" now moves to the top, you get even the form at issue in Twisted Easel card. Was not hard, right?
***
Now move the cover backwards. You can already see the twisted easel. It was not that difficult, was it?

Now you need another piece of cardstock the size of 15.25 x 15.25 cm (6 "x 6"). This will be glued later on the resulting triangle. Please stick to the cardstock but do not reach!
***
Now you need another piece of cardstock sized 6 "x 6". You want to add it to the triangle on the cover later. Please do not glue the card stock to it now!

First, the individual map tiles are decorated so yet! This is only a design example and the papers are here only as an illustration attached to the cardstock. The stamp holds the upper part is currently open, without it the card would go again. This means that you absolutely have to install a "stopper" (a slightly higher standing Dekoartionsteil) in your lower part, which opened the card later holds. Observed this' contact with the decoration of your card member!
***
First you have to decorate the single card parts! This is only a sample for a layout. The papers are not glued to the card stock yet. At the moment the stamp is holding the card open. If I would remove it, the card would close. This means that you need a "stopper" (a part that is higher than the rest of your layout) on the bottom part of your card. Please remember this when decorating your card bottom!

serves for me the day (stamping) as a stopper, I've stuck with higher 3D pads, so that the upper part against maps later found can be displayed and the card remains open.
***
I used a tag (the cut) as a stopper Which is adhered with 3D/foam pads. It will later hold the card open.

If you then also the upper part have made ready, fits you, that you the "cap" is not upside aufklebt! Would you simply stick the top part so your location would later be oblique.
***
When your upper part of the card is finished you have to glue it to the cover. Please do not glue it like this! If you would glue it like this your image would later be in the wrong position.

So it is correct. Watch out that you aufklebt your top of the card only on the shaded piece of cardstock, otherwise the works not with the Twisted Easel effect!

*** This is correct. Please watch that you only add glue to the shaded part of the cover because otherwise you would not get the twisted easel effect!
If your card now looks like this, then you did everything right!
***
If your card is looking like this, everything is correct!

Now pull the top left corner ...
****
Now lift the left upper edge ...

... and the upper part after the "stop" terminals - done!
***
... and add the upper part of the card behind the "stopper" - ready!
From the other side of the map would look like this. Here you can the "stopper" and once more visible. Whether you label the map now on the lower or upper back of you stays on course to decide.
***
This is how it looks from the other side. Here you can also see how the "stopper" works. You can of course decide by your own if you want to add your greetings underneath the card or on the card's backside.

I hope that this guide you could map the twisted Easel bring something closer and you may also want to make one. Anyway, I'm very excited about this card variant and will be sure in the future even more.
***
I hope that this tutorial is helping you to get closer to twisted easel cards and that you therefore want to make one. I for myself am really enjoing this kind of card and I know that I will do more of them in the future.

your Jay Jay

The Stamp Room # 1 - stamp storage

Today starts the new series "The Stamp Room" at the Stempeleinmaleins specifically with the issue "stamp storage. There are many different ways to store stamps / stamp Rubber / Clear Stamps. Here you get an insight into our rooms and our stamp stamp storage. Possibly. is indeed an idea for you suggestion here? Have fun browsing!

I have over the years (as we all) accumulated a lot of punch and various Storage systems on my stamp room housed. This time is an overview for you:

wooden temple (elongated IKEA drawers)
This "stamp shop tower" like me did not at all, but with these drawers I then begun and they are easy for the storage of wooden stamps handy. The design is not really nice, although I could anpinseln all, but I'm not interested. Unfortunately, there is this drawer system is no longer in Sweden buy (I was there again last week extra to check it).
rubberstamps (Leitz DVD boxes)
My hÄnglar and Magnolia rubberstamps I collect in DVD cases in this black DVD boxes from Leitz . Black is now not as mine, but where they are, they fit into the picture;)

rubber stamp (Storage Sheets)
more rubber stamp (CC Designs and (Magnolia) temple scene) I collect the so-called Storage Sheets (or storage) in folders. This system I find really handy.

rubber stamp wood IKEA CD / DVD boxes

rubber stamp of LeLo Design, Betty's Creations, Whiff of Joy, Lili of the Valley, Sugar Nellie, The Greeting Farm and German sayings I collect in this IKEA CD / DVD boxes.

rubber stamp / stamps in IKEA CD and DVD boxes
My treasures! Unfortunately, there are these beautiful storage boxes in Sweden anymore, but similar! In those boxes I store and rubber stamp on (CC Designs) and my few Stampin 'Up! Stamp. As you can see I've (recently!) printed out for my CC Designs Sayings rubber stamp cover, as it is very difficult was the best English Proverbs to find. Now it is no longer a problem!

Clear Stamps and rubber stamping
My Stampavie stamp I keep also in the bright IKEA boxes. Since I needed a system to keep the different collections apart, I have "dividers" inserted and stitched together the various collections with rubber bands. My other clear stamps I collect all together in one box. This is really no good storage, but for me it's okay.

As you might have noticed, we could label all boxes as well, but after I've omitted. Although I had never thought that you all can remember places like that, but I know exactly what is stored where stamp;)

Stamp / gums on my desk
Small-wood stamp saying I have placed in the home-made display.

CD / DVD Cases in Baskets (sewn by a friend). Normally, the stamps are always here, which I use often (such as small messages) or containing stamps, which I sometimes like to (re) use.

I have my SU sets all the shelves, nice with the set name to the front, fast enough so I think that I am looking for.

I had bought on eBay 3 rotary stand (have cost € 8 each), to which I have hung up the stamps. Works really great - only if you have too many punches (I'm talking about 300 Magnolias on a rotating stand) is chaotic. Therefore, I am just stamp storage technically "under construction".

not have my stamp mounted on wood I in boxes from the furniture store kept. In the boxes I have 12 "x 12" scrapbook covers in which lies a sheet of cardstock, I have to be stamped in the pocket located motives. Rear, on exactly the same place, then stick the stamps - thanks to EZ Mount they adhere themselves to the bags.

I have a box for Magnolia stamps, sorted by "Tilda", "Edwin", "text", etc. In addition I have tried to put special events such as Christmas and Halloween, each in a bag together. To find the categories easier, I've stuck up each tab. In another box, I then punch the other manufacturers, sorted by manufacturer only.

I also have a lot of Studio G sets - which are pretty small and therefore have to keep baseball card binders ideal. There are sites to buy individually, each page has 16 pockets. I've placed in folders or in home-made solutions.

My motif stamps from Magnolia, hÄnglar, and more. are mounted on EZ Mount, and are in DVD cases in a matching shelf from Sweden: o)
My stamps from Stampin 'Up! are in a Stoffbox and my sayings and little scene in the temple I store called CD boxes, which serve some relevant cases. I'm sure wind foil cut to size, as the stamp-like wonderful, thanks to EZ Mount. And my clear stamps are in these boxes.

I store in my wooden temple Pappart boxes, since I tend to be less use.

My
on EZ mount Magnolias hÄnglar, Lilis, etc. I store in CD cases, CD boxes labeled in this from Sweden.

on the EZ mount sayings, words, etc. I have to A5 stamped cardboard, laminated and affixed to the back. The whole is filed in an A5 ring binder. So beautiful and can be browsed particular attention to the good sayings.

The Clear Stamps I have put in A5 brochure covers and filed in a ring binder.

The wooden temple are with me in wood "trays" sorted by boesner. These boxes are quite a bit higher than the wooden blocks of stamps, so you can stack several of these boxes each other, without squeezing the stamps. On the side I have labeled them so that I can see clearly what is to be found where.

My rubber stamp I keep also in DVD cases, these are marked on the side with the respective Magolia stamp collection or the Company.

Larger background I collect stamps on these storage disks. I have a folder for or not, they are currently in such a tack box from Sweden.

And my Stampin '! I store stamp stacked in shelves.
