11th December 2008 - Sentimatt 1 - Lucerne

Till Velten (Head Master of Art in Public Spheres) was able to welcome another guest: Bernard Stone (Professor of Visual Communication at the School of Art Kassel).

It was about the idea of DESIGN 2009 Berlin and an evening that will be designed with input from the master students. However
was not spoken of "ordinary" work, but "Pecha Kucha". It is a little-known form of presentation in our degrees. Developed the idea in Japan is of a couple of architects. This would restrict the "elegant way" the speaking time for events. The result is a presentation consisting of 20 pictures, which will each receive a talk time of 20 seconds, and are therefore clocked accordingly. The important thing is that all Media and forms are approved. It is simply and solely to the limitation of speaking time to the form 20/20.

This is a new "talk culture" emerged, and YouTube provides the proof. Already there are some video, also from Germany, on this portal.

have now let the interested students of the Master's programs the opportunity to develop in collaboration with Professor Stein, the first "works". It created the conditions and, interestingly, appeared at the meetings of the recurrent questions about budget and audience. I am particularly read course the desire to stop for a documentary. The corresponding sequences are shown in the video and are available as small view of the preliminary thoughts.
