Where Can Buy Ps2 Slim Power Cord?

cakes Card Tutorial

Beautiful Saturday to you all! It's time for a new edition of Stempeleinmaleins - and this time I want to show you how I made the "pie card".
***
Happy Saturday to all of you! It's time for a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins - and today I'd like to share how I made this "cake card".

your needs:
a piece of cardstock, 12 "x 5 1 / 2"
pattern paper
birthday candles
band
a piece Tranpsparentfolie
decoration
glue, scissors, bone folder
***
You need:
a piece of card stock, 12 "x 5 1 / 2 "
designer's paper
birthday candles
some ribbon
a piece of a transparency sheet
embellishment
scissors, glue, bonefolder

Sets the cardstock on your scoring board and score it at 3 ", 5 5 / 8" and 6 3 / 8 ".
***
Place the cardstock on your scoring board and score at 3 ", 5 5 / 8" and 6 3 / 8 ".

Now it goes to the" cake. "Cuts to only a circle in the diameter, is supposed to have your cake. I used a Spellbinders-circle with a diameter of about 2 3 / 4 ". If you use a different size, then ensures that in addition to the cake is still room for the box of candles.
***
Now it's time to make the "cake". Cut a circle with the diameter you want your cake to be. I used a Spellbinders circle with a diameter of about 2 3 / 4 ". If you are using a different size make sure there's enough room for the candle box next to your cake.

For the edge of the cake you cut a strip of card stock 1 1 / 4 "x 9" and score it at 1 / 4 "and 1".
***
Cut a strip of cardstock measuring 1 1 / 4 "x 9" and score it at 1 / 4 "and 1".

then cut the folded parts of your zig-zag one.
***
Then make little v-shaped cuts at the on both sides.

power now in the circle for the cake, the holes for the candles. How many and what size Your herein, up to you. Let but enough distance between the holes so the cardstock is not to thin and soft / unstable. He will eventually hold the candles. If you have the good fortune to have a suitable punch (there are so many different sizes of candles, but of course not all a punch) you can use this course. I have here traced the holes on the back and then cut with scissors (my candles are just too thin).
***
Now it's time to make the holes for the cand. How many and Which size is totally up to you. Just make sure you leave enough room between the candles So the cardstock area in between is not becoming too thin anymore Which means it's also getting soft and not stable. Remember that this area holds the candles.
If you are lucky enough to have a matching punch for the thickness of your candles use it! There are so many different candles out there but of course there can not be the perfect punch for each size. I drew the circles to the back of the card stock and then used my scissors to cut the holes (my candles are just too Thinn).

now decorated the top of your cake. I have made points with Funline, as good works or snow Puffy Velvet Liner. Funline PuffyVelvet and must be heated to the mass watch out that your not to overheat the cardstock - puffing.
***
Now it's time to decorate the cake. Funline I used to make dots that look like cream puffs, you can then use or Puffy Velvet SnowLiner. You have to heat up the Funline and Puffy Velvet pufff to make it - take care that you do not burn the paper.

Next, you stick the cake edge to the "cover". I have previously painted with two lines drawn Nocht a filling and also a punched strip glued (and unfortunately forgot to take a picture - but I think the picture of the finished card can detect it very well).
***
Next step is to glue the paper trip to the top of the cake. I drew two lines on the strip and also added a punched border to make it look like filled cake (and I forgot to take a picture of this step but I think it's really good to see on the picture of the finished card).

Now the box is made for the candles. In my box fit 7 candles, because I had just measured. The dimensions here are for a box suitable for 6 candles.
cut a piece of cardstock, measuring 3 1 / 4 "x 4 1 / 4". Put it on the smaller side at the top of the scoring boards and folds to 1 / 2 ", 7 / 8", 2 3 / 8 "and 2 3 / 4". Rotates the cardstock to a 90 ° and folds to 1 / 2 ", 7 / 8", 3 3 / 8 "and 3 3 / 4".
***
Now it's time to make the box for the candles. I put 7 candles in my box - just because I messed things up a bit when doing my measurements. The measurements are written down here for a box that holds candles 6th
Cut a piece of cardstock measuring 3 1 / 4 "x 4 1 / 4". Align the shorter side of the cardstock with the top scoring of your board and score at 1 / 2 ", 7 / 8", 2 3 / 8 "and 2 3 / 4". Turn the cardstock 90 degrees and score at 1 / 2 ", 7 / 8", 3 3 / 8 "and 3 3 / 4".

now cut the corners, as to see in the picture:
***
Now cut the edges / corners as shown on the picture:

You can now drag the box over with pattern paper and punch a window in the middle. I also have a piece of transparent film from the back stuck behind the window so that the candles are protected.

*** Now you can cover your box with designer's paper and punch a window in the middle. I also added a piece of transparency to the back of the window.

Take the pattern paper with which you want to decorate the inside of the card, and cut a piece of in size 5 1 / 4 "x 5 3 / 8", the shorter side is on the front and rear.
you then marks with a pencil the spot where your box is attached. Sets beside the cake to make sure that everything fits well together. Forget not to leave enough room to the rear as the front message to be drawn up the map and it looks not so nice when the card is so very steep.
If you are satisfied, still marked about the middle of the pit edges. Then cut with the cutter has a slot through which you draw the tape to seal the box. We see if the box is empty, not the glued ends.
***
Take the designer´s paper you want to use for the inside of your card and cut it to 5 1/4" x
5 3/8". The shorter side will be aligned with the front/back.
Use a pen to mark the place where you want your box to be on the finished card. Put the cake next to it to make sure it´ll fit nicely. And don´t forget to leave enough room behind the box and cake to be able to put up card front.
Once you´re happy with the result mark the place where the middle of the box edges will be. Then make a slit with your cutter there and pull a piece of ribbon through them. Like this you won´t see the glued down ends of the ribbon when the box is empty.

Fold the bottom of the box and attached double-sided adhesive tape in the joints. You can choose whether you only want the two sides stick to box, or if you - like me here - want to stick the rear narrow side.
***
Fold the box and put some sticky strip to the bottom parts. You can decide if you only want to glue down the two sides of your box or if you - like I did here - that want to glue down one of the shorter sides.

Bonds now box and cake in place.
***
Glue down box and cake to the designer's paper.

now decorated the front of the card. Does this, make sure that your not a member sticking above and below the Knicks as the card can not otherwise be established.
If you wish, you can stick in the inner part and the lower card front Glue another piece band, with which you can lock the whole map.
***
Now it's time to decorate the front of the card. Make sure you are not then glueing down any element to the Upper and lower side of the scored line because you will not be able to put up the card.
If you want to you can put some ribbon between the card base and the front and inside designer's paper Which You Can use to close the entire card.

Here is yet another variant of the same map: a wreath-Card: ***

Here's another version of the same card: an advent wreath card :

I have for 4 slightly thicker candles used - after all, they will burn more than once. Thus, the candles are safe, I have the Advent 1 1 / 2 "high made in this case pay attention to the fact that the amount of the whole map has to be adapted -. Ie the" back "of the card must also . 1 1 / 2 "in height
The box must be adapted to the size of the candles - take 4 x the diameter of the candle in width, the length of the candles - plus each about 3 mm thick - and the diameter of the candle plus 2 . mm for the height of the box
(In this picture you can also see how ugly it looks when you look at the band edges box emptied by the Boxdeckel - was just my first card of its kind ..)
the Advent wreath. I basically made the same way as the cake (the circle had a larger diameter) are punched from the middle and another wreath. On the margins of both parties, I made a cardstock. Then I ich alles mit unzähligen ausgestanzten Tannenzweigen dekoriert.
***
I used 4 bigger candles here since they are meant to be lighted up more often than just once. To make sure the candles stand up savely I made the wreath 1 1/2" high. Don´t forget to also change the hight of the whole card to 1 1/2" too.
Also the Box needs to be adjusted. Take 4 x the diameter of the candles and the length of the candles and add about 3 mm to both - and use the diameter of your candles plus 2 mm for the height of the box.
(On this picture you can also see that it´s not really nice if you see the ends of the ribbon when the box is empty - but this was my first attempt on such a card ...).
The wreath is made like the cake. I used a bigger circle here and cut out a smaller one from its middle. I put paper trips around both circles for stabilization and decorated the whole wreath with a bunch of punched out trunk.

And here at last have a slightly faster version with only a candle that does it without the box and is fastened only with a little band:
***
And last but not least, here ' Sat quicker version of the card. It comes with only one candle Which you do not need a box for but just use some ribbon to hold it in place:

And now I wish you much fun handiwork!
***
Now have fun making your own birthday cake cards!

And here are the cards from the team:
