Mini Birdhouse

Hi everyone! I have seen for the Christmas tree pendant in the shape of bird house - and I thought, but you can make yourself great. And best of all, they can make great little cardstock residues.
***
Hello and welcome! I saw some tiny bird houses to hang in the christmas tree - and thought I could easily make those by myself. And the best thing is: You Can Use up all those little cardstock left over for them.

The cardstock for the house must be 2 "x 4 1 / 4" in size, in addition you need yet another piece of cardstock, a little card board (or piece of a cereal box), a pearl, a piece of string and standard material such as glue, bone folder, scissors, any punch.

The card stock for the house is 2 "x 4 1 / 4", in addition you need another piece of card stock, some cardboard (or a piece from a cornflakes box), a pearl, some thread and the usual things as glue, bone folder, scissors, any punches.

Sets the long side at the top of your Falzbrettes on and score the cardstock for the house at 1 ", 2", 3 "and 4" ...

*** Put the cardstock in your scoring board, having the longer side aligned with the top of the board, and score at 1 ", 2", 3 "and 4" ...

turns ... the cardstock 90 degrees and score at 1 / 4 "and 1 3 / 4".

... turn the cardstock and score at 1 / 4 "and 1 3 / 4".

power small v-shaped notches as shown in the picture.
***
Make little v-shaped cuts as you can see on the picture.

Turn around the cardstock and you marked the hole for the input (of course you can use here also a matching punch). Cut the door from there.

*** On the back side mark the entry of your house (you can then use a punch here). Then cut out at the lines.

For the roof you can you here the template download. Carry on the other piece of cardstock and cut it along the lines and folds.
***
You can download the template for the roof here. Transfer it to the other piece of cardstock, cut out and fold at the lines.

Bring now on tape to the glue flaps and the roof of the house.
***
Add some sticky strip to the roof and house.

Includes the forms and then glued the house into the roof.
***
Glue the pieces together.

power a small hole in the center of the roof and tying the ribbon loop.
***
Make a little hole in the middle of the roof and tie a loop from the thread.

it Moves from inside through the roof. (Easy does it before you fixed the roof on the house!) Then pulls the bead attached to the top of the loop and with a small adhesive droplets.
***
Pull the loop through the hole in the roof, from inside out. (It's way easier to do this before you attach the roof to the house!)
Put the pearl on the loop and fix it with a little drop of glue.

Punch or cut from a (wavy) square as a base for the house - twice in patterned cardstock, once from Cardboard.
***
Punch or cut a (scalloped) square as the bottom of the house - from patterned cardstock twice, once from cardboard.

Glue the pieces together (card board in the middle) and attached to the little house in the middle.
***
Glue the pieces together (cardboard as the middle layer) and attach the house to them.

for the round version of the cottage of your folds the cardstock only parallel to the long side, also at 1 / 4 "and 1 3 / 4", and cuts small v-shaped wedges of the strip.
***
For a round version of the birdhouse score the card stock only at 1 / 4 "and 1 3 / 4" and cut out little v-shaped pieces.

The roof is made here of a (convoluted) circuit from which I cut out a piece. When cutting out not forget to leave some available for the adhesive flap. (I have used the 4th largest Spellbinders circle.)

The roof is made from a (scalloped) circle that I cut out a piece from. Do not forget to leave a strip for glueing the roof together. (I used the 4th size of Spellbinders circles.)

Makes a Hole for the door in the strip and set the house together as previously described. The floor consists of another (corrugated) circuit.
***
Make a hole for the entry and put the house together as described before. The bottom of the house is another (scalloped) circle.

I then had the house decorated with Christmas tree yet, holly-branch, snowflake and snowman something Christmassy - and finished gift or tree pendant ...
***
I decorated the bird houses with a tree, holly leaves, a snowflake and a snowman and voila - your gift tags or tree ornaments are done ....

Enjoy handiwork!
***
Have lots of fun making your own bird houses!
