Or are you hopelessly falling behing with you christmas card production, just like me? If so, today's post here at SEME could be the solution - quick christmas cards in style CAS.

What can be thought of as "CAS"?
"CAS" is short for "Clean and Simple" and means roughly "plain and simple."
***
What is "CAS"?
"CAS" is the abréviation of "Clean and Simple".

The "Clean and Simple" style, it is all about the design of the card, the technology, the tools used, or the decorative elements are secondary.
***
At the "Clean and Simple" style it `s all about the design of a card, the technique, the tools or embellishments are not so important.

- The construction of the map is uncluttered and clear to be, with as few layers of paper - ideally your stamped even just the base map
- It should be seen as much white / empty area be
- The design has a central focus, assisted by the economical Use of Embellishments not distracted is
- The techniques used should be simple and commonplace (wiping, distress, emboss, pierce)
- Respective colored stamp designs are to color quickly and easily be
- makes all this possible, the card easily copy and with little effort to produce more copies
***
- The design should be uncluttered, using only limited layers or just the card base
- There should be a lot of white / open space
- and a main focal point, Which should not be distracted from through too many embellishments
- The techniques should be simple (Sponging, embossing, distressing, piercing)
- Coloured images should be easy and quick to color
- So your card can be copied and even mass produced quite quickly

These points are obviously not carved in stone rules are only intended to serve as aids to You - Do you like like you - more or less can follow.
***
These of course are no rules you have to strictly obey, they are meant as guidelines for you to use as it pleases you.

For my examples I mainly stamps from Stampin Up! used, which, as I think, particularly well suited for this style. But there are an infinite number of other motifs that can be used just as well.

For my examples I mainly used stamps by Stampin Up! Which I found very suitable for this style. But of course there a lots and lots of other stamps you can use as well.

I hope I could inspire you a little. Me, this type maps to produce a lot of fun, even though - or perhaps just because I used to have a somewhat more complex style. wish you every success and a wonderful third Sunday of Advent you
***
Now I hope I `ve given you some inspiration. I enjoyed creating these cards, although - or perhaps just because I prefer a different style normally. Enjoy crafting! Wishing you a wonderful third advent

Susan
